Aggressive
reading Performances:
The new Touch65/90 Light provides an optimal combination
of reading performances and features, able to satisfy
the most common requirements in a typical low throughput
environment. The new empowered architecture guarantees
256 scans/sec combined with the Puzzle Solver™
technology, further improving the Touch65/90 Light reading
capabilities in any condition and also works in case
of damaged or poorly printed bar codes.

Enhanced
Decoding capability:
The new Touch65/90 Light implements the standard linear codes
and the GS1 DATABAR (new name for Reduced Space Symbology
RSS).
In
addition, as well as all the standard Datalogic Scanning products,
the Touch65/90 Light is full compliant with the Sunrise 2005
initiative that standardizes and develops a global identification
code for POS applications within the North American market.
Different
models available:
The new Touch65/90 Light models are available in two optics
with 65mm and 90mm reading windows, to read standard and longer
barcodes.
Furthermore,
regarding the already announced Touch PRO models, the Touch65/90
Light are provided in trigger models only.
The
new readers can also be used as trigger-less reader by simply
disabling the trigger with the right configuration command.
Easy
Device configuration:
As usual, all the Touch65/90 Light parameters can be configured
either via barcode or via the new Aladdin™ software
configuration program, available free of charge from the DATALOGIC
SCANNING website .
5-year
replacement Warranty:
The Touch65/90 Light is provided with a five-year warranty,
the result of solid design, quality manufacturing and attention
to details learned from long experience in bar code scanning.
The Warranty provides faulty units to be replaced with new
units.
VAR
DAYS
The last VAR day took place on Tuesday
6th March 2007 – Symbol Place, Winnersh Triangle, Berkshire,
and was the first VAR day with Motorola - Enterprise
Mobility Division following the acquisition of Symbol Technologies
by Motorola.
